Jack M. Holl is chair of the Department of History at Kansas State University. He is the author, with Richard Hewlett, of Atoms for Peace and War, 1953-1961: Eisenhower and the Atomic Energy Commission (1989), and Argonne National Laboratory, 1946-1996 (1997).
