Jeff Richardson

Jeff Richardson has been on the Lawrence
Livermore National Laboratory staff for 35 years. He has worked on
nuclear weapons programs and the nuclear-pumped X-ray laser and was a
division leader for chemistry and then nonproliferation activities. He
recently completed a two-year assignment with the air force in the
Pentagon, where he worked on reliable replacement warhead activities and
enhanced U.S.-British collaborations. A summary of the latter work,
“A New Partner in Enhanced Collaboration: The U.S. Air
Force,” was included in the recent Center for Strategic and
International Studies book,
U.S.-U.K. Nuclear Cooperation after
