For 25 years Kenneth D. Bergeron was a physicist at Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico, where he performed and managed research on nuclear reactor safety and tritium production. His book Tritium on Ice was awarded a gold medal by Fore-Word Magazine for best book in political science in 2002.
