You can, as this publication usually does, communicate the danger of nuclear war with a certain sense of reserve. Austerity, even. Or you can communicate like the rapper Eminem, who gets on the mic and spits it like this:
…what we got in office now’s
a kamikaze that’ll probably cause
a nuclear holocaust
and while the drama pops
and he waits for shit to quiet down
he’ll just gas his plane up and fly around
till the bombing stops
That’s just one stanza in a withering appraisal of the president that Slim Shady delivered via video at the BET Hip Hop Awards on Tuesday. Outside this stanza, the subject matter isn’t nuclear. The rhetoric and delivery are radioactive.
