What’s New at the Bulletin

Lorene Yue joins the Bulletin

By , April 5, 2021

The Bulletin is delighted to welcome Lorene Yue as our new Director of Media Relations, where she will help set and guide the strategy for Bulletin public relations.

Before joining the Bulletin, Yue was Director of Communications at PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) and a manager on DePaul University’s media relations team.

Her communications journey began as a business reporter for publications including the Kansas City Star, Detroit Free Press, Chicago Tribune and Crain’s Chicago Business. Yue leveraged her reporting skills to develop and deliver successful communications plans as part of DePaul University’s media relations team and at PCMA where she acted as the voice of the organization by writing executive, corporate, and marketing content.

Though her time in the Midwest is now longer than her East Coast upbringing, she will forever say “soda” and “sneakers.” When she’s not running zone defense on her three kids, she’s searching for the best fried chicken in the city.

As the coronavirus crisis shows, we need science now more than ever.

The Bulletin elevates expert voices above the noise. But as an independent, nonprofit media organization, our operations depend on the support of readers like you. Help us continue to deliver quality journalism that holds leaders accountable. Your support of our work at any level is important. In return, we promise our coverage will be understandable, influential, vigilant, solution-oriented, and fair-minded. Together we can make a difference.

  • Best of luck to Ms. Yue! The threats of nuclear terrorism and nuclear war may have been pushed into the news background by the COVID-19 pandemic and by our intense political polarization, but they are as serious as ever. We need BOTAS to inform policy makers of the dangers and to suggest wise remedies.
