Bulletin columnist Duyeon Kim has arrived in Singapore to help cover the historic US-North Korea summit that begins just hours from now. She’s already shared some words of caution for Donald Trump, who bragged over the weekend that he can size up the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un with his “touch and feel.”
“He cannot determine the fate of the Korean peninsula in just one minute,” she told CBS This Morning.
Before she left, Kim joined a panel last week at the Heritage Foundation on possible outcomes of the first meeting of the nations’ leaders. The whole panel is worth a watch, but if you’re impatient to get her take before the summit begins—including an ironic prediction of success—jump ahead to her opening remarks at 18 minutes in.
