Alyxandra Marine

Alyxandra Marine is an associate director and resident fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security, where she leads the Forward Defense’s body of work on space security, strategic missile defense, and long-range strikes. Her research focuses on mitigating the risk of nuclear escalation in conventional conflicts, and examining the operational and diplomatic dynamics of theater-based nuclear weapons. Marine graduated with distinction from a dual-degree program in international history, receiving an MA from Columbia University and an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She also holds a BA from New York University.
