Ta Minh Tuan

Ta is an assistant to Vietnam’s deputy prime minister and an associate professor at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. He earned his doctorate in political science in 2002 from the Institute of Political Studies at the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 2011, he was a fellow at the Center for Northeast Asian Policy Studies at the Brookings Institution. Since 2005, he has been a member of the Study Group on Countering the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction in the Asia-Pacific, an initiative of the Council for Security Cooperation. His research interests include Vietnam’s politics and foreign policy, US foreign policy, nonproliferation, and nuclear energy.
