The Bulletin‘s annual signature event, Conversations Before Midnight, will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2026, in downtown Chicago.
The event will focus on how current and future leaders should manage existential risk. This event will take place just after the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, ensuring a timely and lively discussion.
Our keynote speakers will outline the necessary steps that leaders must take to better contend with the most pressing issues of our time—nuclear risk, climate change, and disruptive technologies.
In addition to uplifting the Bulletin’s mission, Conversations Before Midnight will also introduce a new, two-part event format this year, featuring:
- A moderated discussion held in a large-capacity theater with a range of ticket options.
- An exclusive Bulletin community dinner with remarks from President and CEO Alexandra Bell.
