Allison Stanger is Middlebury distinguished endowed professor; co-director, GETTING-Plurality Research Network and faculty affiliate, Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society, Harvard University; and external professor, Santa Fe Institute.  Who Elected Big Tech? is forthcoming with Yale University Press. Stanger is currently working on a new book, tentatively titled Fiat: A Brief History of Money and Democracy from Coins to Crypto.
