Rebecca Fons

Rebecca Fons is a film curator, arts leader, and educator, now serving as Head of Cinema at the Barbican Centre in London, England, and as programming director for the historic Iowa Theater in her hometown of Winterset, IA. Fons is co-founder of the event series Destroy Your Art, and in 2022 was named Chicagoan of the Year in Film by The Chicago Tribune. She holds an MA from Columbia College, Chicago.
