Stephen Bessasparis is a senior consultant at Energy + Environmental Economics (E3), an energy industry consulting firm, in their Transmission, Pricing, and Risk practice area. He currently leads the load forecasting team that strives to forecast hourly electricity demand through 2070 across over 80 individual zones. He also developed the E3 data center forecasting framework, contributed to multiple whitepapers on data center impacts on the electric system, and works to ensure policymakers and investors understand the full impacts of our evolving electric grid.
Prior to E3, Stephen worked as an energy analysist for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and served for seven years in the U.S. Army as an Infantry and Military Intelligence Officer. He holds graduate degrees in public affairs and environmental science.
