Eva Siegmann is a Master’s candidate in Security Studies with a concentration in Technology and Security at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Her research interests revolve around mitigating global catastrophic risks associated with advanced technologies, including nuclear weapons, synthetic biology, and artificial intelligence. She previously worked on Biological Weapons Convention issues in the CBWNet project at the University of Hamburg and on nuclear policy at the Fondation pour la Recherche Stratégique in Paris. She holds a double Bachelor’s degree in social and political science from Sciences Po Paris and the Free University of Berlin.
