Michael Klare is a professor of Peace and World Security Studies at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, and a member of the Bulletin‘s Board of Directors. He is the editor, with Jeffrey Boutwell, of Light Weapons and Civil Conflict: Controlling the Tools of Violence (forthcoming).
