The authoritative guide to ensuring science and technology make life on Earth better, not worse.
Michael Harrison is the arts initiative coordinator for the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. Upon moving to Chicago in 2013, he fell in love with the work being done by the city’s vibrant contemporary art and music communities and has been dedicating his time to supporting artistic practices ever since. The odd one out in a family of scientists, he is excited to help build upon the Bulletin’s interdisciplinary approach and introduce new perspectives to its ongoing conversation around some of the most urgent problems the world faces today. He also works on exhibitions and events programming at the Renaissance Society and holds a B.A. with honors in art history and philosophy from the University of Chicago.
