George Lewis is a Visiting Scholar at the Judith Reppy Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies at Cornell University. He has a doctorate in experimental solid-state physics from Cornell’s Physics Department and is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and a recipient of its Joseph A. Burton Forum Award. Prior to returning to Cornell in 2005, he was in the Technology and Security Group of MIT’s Security Studies Program for 16 years.
