Closing June 9th – Turn Back the Clock at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago
Engage with interactive displays that offer fascinating snapshots of American culture and politics from history-making moments during the nuclear age. In Turn Back the Clock at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, you’ll be able to examine the “Westinghouse Atomic Power Plant” and the “Atomic Energy Lab,” do-it-yourself kits that were popular with kids from the Erector Set-era. You’ll also be able to watch the “Daisy Girl ad,” one of the most controversial political ads of all time, and to make your voice heard by sharing your thoughts on questions of nuclear and climate policy.
But you’ll have to hurry. Turn Back the Clock closes on June 9th after a successful 2 year run. Walk through this fascinating time travel through our scientific history, and future, while you still can.
