David Burbach

David Burbach is an Associate Professor of National Security Affairs at the US Naval War College. He earned a PhD in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research and teaching interests include the politics of US foreign policy, African security, and issues at the intersection of technology and national security – including cyber, space, and nuclear weapons. He previously taught at the Army’s School of Advanced Military Studies and held positions at the RAND Corporation and several technology startup firms.
