Achin Vanaik

Achin Vanaik is a retired professor of international relations and global politics from Delhi University. He has authored, co-authored, and edited several books, ranging from contemporary Indian politics and economy to matters of religion, secularism, communalism, and nationalism; and on to issues of globalization, international politics, Indian foreign policy and regional and global nuclear weaponization and disarmament. He is a founder-member of the Coalition for Nuclear Disarmament and Peace, India and a fellow of the Transnational Institute, Amsterdam since 1988.
