Christopher A. Ford

Ford is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute in Washington, DC. He previously served as US Special Representative for Nuclear Nonproliferation, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, General Counsel to the US Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and an intelligence officer in the US Navy Reserve. He is the author of The Mind of Empire: China’s History and Modern Foreign Relations, and The Admirals’ Advantage: U.S. Navy Operational Intelligence in World War II and the Cold War, the co-editor of Rethinking the Law of Armed Conflict in an Age of Terrorism, and the author of many published articles and monographs.
