Danilo Türk

Danilo Türk is Emeritus Professor of International Law at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He has served as Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Slovenia to the UN in New York and as UN Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs. He was elected as President of the Republic of Slovenia for the term of 2007 – 2012. He is currently President of the Club de Madrid, and Political Advisor of the Geneva Water Hub.
