Nicholas S. Fisher

Fisher is a distinguished professor and director of the Consortium for Interdisciplinary Environmental Research at Stony Brook University. His research focuses on the interactions of metals and metalloids with marine organisms. This work is aimed at evaluating the bioavailability and fate of metals, including long-lived radionuclides associated with nuclear wastes, in marine organisms.
