The Bulletin is proud to welcome Michelle Dover as a new Senior Fellow. In this role, she will help expand the Bulletin’s outreach to students and educators.
“Educating current and future generations about existential threats is one of the most crucial steps we can take to manage those threats,” said Bulletin President and CEO, Alexandra Bell. “Michelle will be an integral partner in connecting the Bulletin directly with academic communities at all levels across the nation.”
Prior to joining as a senior fellow, Dover served at the U.S. Department of State as Executive Director of the Secretary’s International Security Advisory Board and Senior Advisor for Strategic Assessment. Previously, she served as Director of Programs at Ploughshares Fund, a foundation focused on reducing nuclear threats and conducted cooperative threat reduction research at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies.
Dover began her career as a Nonproliferation Graduate Fellow at the National Nuclear Security Administration, where she worked on International Atomic Energy Agency safeguards. She holds a master’s degree in conflict resolution from American University and graduated with honors from the University of Denver with degrees in international studies and French.
