Jamie Shinn

Jamie Shinn is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF). Her research examines climate adaptation, environmental policy and governance, disaster response and recovery, and works to identify transformations that can lead to more just and equitable climate futures. She is particularly interested in the community-level impacts of flooding events and has regional expertise in Central Appalachia and Southern Africa.
