Margaret E. Kosal

An assistant professor at the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs and the codirector of the Program on Emerging Technology and Security, Kosal also directs the Program on Biological and Chemical Nonproliferation and Counterterrorism within the Center for International Strategy, Technology, and Policy. Before joining the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, Kosal was science and technology adviser on chemical and biological defense and chemical demilitarization within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. She also served as the first liaison to the Biological and Chemical Technologies Directorate at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
