Rogelio Pfirter

Pfirter is serving his second term as the director-general of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, a post he has held since 2002. Previously, he was Argentina’s director of nuclear and security affairs and the chief negotiator of the Tlatelolco Treaty, which established Latin America and the Caribbean as a nuclear-weapon-free zone.
