Eugene A. Rosa

Rosa is the Boeing Distinguished Professor of Environmental Sociology and the Edward R. Meyer Distinguished Professor of Natural Resource and Environmental Policy, and Professor of Sociology, at Washington State University. He is also a visiting scholar at Stanford University’s Woods Institute for the Environment. He served on the National Academy of Sciences’ committee on the human dimensions of global change, the National Research Council’s Nuclear Radiation Study Board, and the Committee on the Staging of Nuclear Repositories. He has researched connections between nuclear power and the public for more than 30 years, consistent with his current research, which focuses more generally on technological risk and global environmental change.
