Thomas Webler

Webler is a founding member and researcher at the Social and Environmental Research Institute (SERI). He is also an associate faculty member in the Department of Environmental Studies at Antioch University New England, and an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Geography at Clark University. He serves on the international advisory board of the German Helmholtz Alliance and the European Union’s Virtual Risk Institute and was an active member of the Nuclear Energy Agency’s Forum for Stakeholder Confidence from 2002 to 2008. His research specializes in bringing local and expert knowledge together in collaborative ways to find solutions to problems of environmental management and technological risk.
