Terry A. Brock is a senior health physicist at the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), where he has worked for more than nine years. Brock is the senior project manager for the NRC-sponsored National Academy of Sciences study “Analysis of Cancer Risks in Populations near Nuclear Facilities.” He also serves on the executive committee of the Joint Coordinating Committee for Radiation Effects Research that is studying the radiation health effects of Russian workers and populations exposed by nuclear weapons production activities. Before the NRC, Brock worked at Oregon State University, providing free assistance to communities affected by hazardous substance contamination.
