It’s December in a year of bleak headlines. As we hobble toward the finish line, take a pre-holiday break with some nuclear humor from novelist Teddy Wayne in The New Yorker.
He’s not against all restrictions on nuclear missiles, of course. As he writes, “Mental-health screening, so that a madman with a military and a tacky branding empire can’t get hold of them, is a sound idea.”
