Neta C. Crawford
Neta C. Crawford is Professor of International Relations at University of St. Andrews. Prior to that she was the Montague Burton Professor of International Relations at Oxford University, UK, and Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at Boston University. She was elected a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2023 and elected a Fellow of the British Academy in 2023.
Her books include The Pentagon, Climate Change and War: Charting the Rise and Fall of U.S. Military Emissions (Cambridge, MA: MIT Press, 2022), Winner of the American Book Award, 2023 and the Grawemeyer Award, 2024. Shortlisted for the 2023 Project Syndicate Sustainability Book Award. She is also the author of Accountability for Killing: Moral Responsibility for Collateral Damage in America’s Post-9/11 Wars (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2013) and Neta C. Crawford, Argument and Change in World Politics: Ethics, Decolonization, and Humanitarian Intervention (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2002).
