Alexei Arbatov
Alexei Arbatov is Head of the Center on International Security, Institute for World Economy and International Relations, Russian Academy of Sciences; Head of the Non-proliferation program at the Moscow Center of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace; in 1993–2003 deputy of the State Duma (Russian Parliament); in 1990 participant at START-1 negotiations. He is the author of a number of books, articles, and papers on issues of global security, strategic stability, disarmament, and Russian military reform.
