Martin Siegert is vice president (Cornwall) at the University of Exeter, UK. Previously he was a professor at Imperial College London and director of the Grantham Institute for Climate Change and the Environment. Before that he was head of the School of GeoSciences at the University of Edinburgh. He is a glaciologist with over 30 years’ experience in both polar regions. In 2013 he was awarded the Martha T Muse Prize in Antarctic Science and Policy, and in 2007 he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
