Piotr Wolski

Piotr Wolski is a senior researcher working at Climate System Analysis Group at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. His career has spanned areas as diverse as modelling and analyzing pollution in highly industrialized environments, and studying hydro-geo-ecological processes in the southern African wetlands, including Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Wolski’s recent interests focus on climate, and he has published articles on climate variability, projections and attribution of climate change, and seasonal forecasting, but always in the context of hydrological processes and water resources. He earned his doctorate in Earth Sciences from the Free University in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and has been working in southern Africa since 1995.
