The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists is pleased to introduce you to Say What? a new video series that takes a clear-eyed look at fuzzy policy. The pilot of this exciting new project casts a wry eye at Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke and the immense impact he is having on research and the management of public lands. News broke yesterday that the Department of the Interior’s inspector general has referred a probe involving Zinke to the Department of Justice. In this first episode of Say What? the Bulletin asked environmental law professor Sean Hecht to react to some of the most recent statements and actions coming out of Zinke’s office. With this new series, the Bulletin engages experts to comment on the strange and the unexpected when it comes to policy on nuclear risk, climate change, and disruptive technologies. Tune in monthly as we ask – Say What? |
