One year of war in Ukraine

February 24 marks the one-year anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Today, the Bulletin looks back at how the conflict has evolved over the course of this past year.

According to UNHCR, there are currently more than eight million refugees from Ukraine across Europe. There have been more than 21,000 civilian casualties, including more than 8,000 killed and 13,000 injured, per the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
