Matthew Breay Bolton

Matthew Breay Bolton is a professor of political science, and co-director of the International Disarmament Institute at Pace University. He has worked for 20 years in humanitarian efforts on landmines, cluster munitions, military robotics, and the arms trade. He was part of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) team awarded the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize. In 2023, Bolton was appointed by New York City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams to the city’s Nuclear Weapons Free Zone Advisory Committee.
