Mina Narayanan is a research analyst at Georgetown’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET). Her work focuses on U.S. AI governance, spanning AI standards, risk management practices, and evaluations. Prior to joining CSET, she worked at the U.S. Department of State in the Bureau of Consular Affairs where she monitored developments and prepared correspondence for international child abduction cases. Previously, she leveraged topic modeling to analyze research portfolios at the National Institute of Nursing Research. Mina holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering with a Minor in Political Science from Auburn University and a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
