A biologist, Pearson directs the Center for Arms Control and Nonproliferation’s Biological and Chemical Weapons Control Program. His expertise is in biological and chemical weapons and arms control. Formerly, he worked as a global security, science, and technology fellow at the American Association for the Advancement of Science and in the Science and Technology Directorate of the Department of Homeland Security. In 2007, he coedited the book, Incapacitating Biochemical Weapons.
