Ali Vaez

Vaez is director of the Iran Project at the Federation of American Scientists. Trained as a scientist, he worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at Harvard University from 2008 to 2010. Formerly, he was Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty’s foreign correspondent in Switzerland from 2004 to 2008. He is also a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where he received a master’s degree in International Public Policy.
