Austin Mullen

Austin Mullen is a PhD student in nuclear engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. His technical studies focus on antineutrino detection for nonproliferation purposes, and he is deeply interested in arms control, nonproliferation, and broader nuclear weapons policy. He is currently serving as the deputy director of the Nuclear Policy Working Group at Berkeley and hopes to help bridge the divide between technical experts and policymakers in the nuclear field.
