Baldev Raj

Baldev Raj is director of the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Bangalore, one of India’s leading multidisciplinary institutions. Raj is the former director of the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research in Kalpakkam and has worked on technologies involved in India's Fast Breeder Test Reactor and Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor. He is the author of numerous books and academic papers and is a recipient of awards such as the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Indian Nuclear Society and the Distinguished Materials Science Award.
