A senior scientist at the Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands and Columbia University’s Earth Institute, van der Zwaan was previously a research associate at Harvard University’s Managing the Atom Project and Energy Technology Innovation Policy research group. Additionally, he is a council member of the Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs.
