Christopher McIntosh

Christopher McIntosh is an Assistant Professor of Political Studies at Bard College. His research addresses terrorist groups, state responses, and the potential use of nuclear weapons by these groups. He also works on conceptions of war, political violence, and temporality/time in global politics. His work appears in International Studies Quarterly, International Theory, Journal of Global Security Studies, and Studies in Conflict and Terrorism, as well as in op-eds and public-facing outlets. He received his PhD from the University of Chicago and an MA from the Security Studies Program at Georgetown. Prior to his graduate training, he worked for the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Office of Naval Intelligence.
