Dinara Ermakova is a graduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Department of Nuclear Engineering. Previously, she worked in the Russian nuclear industry. She earned her M.Sc. degree in Russia and B.Sc. in Kazakhstan. Her research interests are in international security, nuclear energy, and nuclear waste policy. Starting in January 2019, she has been working as a graduate student researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, focusing on the modeling of radioactive contaminant transport in a deep geologic repository. She is a member of the Nuclear Policy Working Group at UC Berkeley.
