Dory Castillo-Peters

Dory Castillo-Peters graduated in 2021 with a BA in Physics and Math. Her previous research spans three different institutions, Montclair State, Rutgers-Newark, and CalTech, and was concentrated in the area of fluid dynamics. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University applying machine learning concepts to computational solid mechanics. Castillo-Peters is a 2022 Next-Generation Fellow of the Physicists Coalition for Nuclear Threat Reduction, an initiative based at Princeton University’s Program on Science and Global Security and supported by the American Physical Society.
