Douglas B. Shaw

Shaw serves as associate dean for planning, research, and external relations and as an assistant professor of international affairs at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. Previously, he worked for the Arms Control and Disarmament Agency and Energy Department, where he secured weapons-usable nuclear material in Ukraine. He also has served in leadership roles in several nongovernmental organizations, including Physicians for Social Responsibility, the Lawyers Alliance for World Security, and the Institute on Religion and Public Policy.
