Elizabeth J. Wilson

Elizabeth J. Wilson is a professor of Energy and Environmental Policy and Law at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. She studies how energy systems are changing as new technologies and societal pressures emerge, focusing on the implementation of energy and environmental policies and laws. She is co-author, with Jennie C. Stephens and Tarla Rai Peterson, of Smart Grid (R)Evolution: Electric Power Struggles and a co-author of Energy Law and Policy. Wilson's research group is working on a project, supported by the National Science Foundation, about decision making in regional transmission organizations. She was selected as a 2015 Andrew Carnegie Fellow.
