Gary R. Eppich

Gary R. Eppich is a staff scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, an expert on nuclear materials analysis in support of nuclear safeguards and nonproliferation, and is currently serving as the Senior Technical and Policy Advisor to the Office of Nuclear Smuggling Detection and Deterrence, in the US National Nuclear Security Administration. He holds a master’s degree in geology from the University of California, Davis, a bachelor’s degree in geology from Colgate University, and has worked on scientific issues related to nuclear nonproliferation for over a decade.
