Jamal Khaer Ibrahim

Ibrahim is a nuclear engineer with more than 30 years of professional experience. From 2006 to 2011, he was director of the Planning and International Relations Division at the Malaysian Nuclear Agency. In this position, he was responsible for, among others things, liaising with the International Atomic Energy Agency and the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization and coordinating Malaysia's multilateral and bilateral nuclear technical cooperation efforts. In 1981, he received a master's degree in nuclear reactor science and engineering from Queen Mary College of the University of London.
